Fight or flight

Have you ever been in a fight? If you have, then have you thought of ideas and what actions to do to achieve victory? Did the words, "can I really beat him?" occur in your mind? Then dont fret. Being in a fight is perfectly normal. And running from one is normal as well.

They say that when people fight, adrenaline kicks in and clouds your decisions. and the only choices you have is to either fight or run. Running is the easy way out, but if you choose to fight, it will be a solution to end all conflicts now. And will be the hardest way out. Choosing to fight means using your physical strength and fighting experiences to put down your opponent. But that's not all, there's also the mental warfare.Taunting, words exchanged while fighting and certain movements to make an opponent come closer. Those are not dirty moves, it's a strategy used to make your opponents drop their guards and get a chance to put them down.

Fighting is not just a barbaric way to settle things. It is a way of expressing your ideals and beliefs in a physical way. Every punch you throw, every kick you make, every time you tackle, all those actions have emotions in them. And by the time the recieving end receives it, they feel the emotions you put into them. Whether it be sadness or just plain anger, conviction to protect another or love, all of it will be felt.

Yes, one can fight another for the sake of love. Not just in a romantic way, but because that someone is close to you. There are tons of reasons as to why you would fight a friend. But the only time i had to beat up a friend was because i wanted him to wake up from the nightmare he created himself. He was screwing around with girls. Well i cant really blame him at first. But still. Women are supposed to be respected! Whether they demand it or not, gentlemen are supposed to respect them in every way. I may not be perfect but i'm still trying. And when i myself am unknowingly disrepecting a girl, he's the on who corrects me. Well, he did beat me up at some point to :)) So seeing him do those things made me angry. I didn't want him inflicting pain to others most especially women. I didn't want our right ideals go wrong. So i had to do what i had to do as his friend. In the end, he came back to his senses after a month or so then apologized to those he hurt.

Fight for what you believe in. But make sure it is right.

And if you realize that you are wrong, be mature enough to back down from a fight and learn from the other side. Pride is one thing but maturity is what makes a person a better human being.
