In movies, zombies are immortal non-living creatures which lurk all of earth to look for living humans to feast. And once they are bitten, they too will become zombies themseleves. Now here's the question, are they real? They are not. Though the people of 21st century are living as if they're zomebies.
People now a days have phones. And phones have apps in them, from business to games. Name it and there's one or bound to be one. When people walk the streets, they would just hold their phone and walk straight forward until they reach their destination. They walk without paying attention to their surroundings, without giving a damn to the events that are currently occuring around them. Just like zombies. And the way they infect people, is by buying their relatives android or apple phones and teaching them how to use them without control. And then they too will become zombies who would roam the earth till they reach their destination while ignoring the things that are happening around them.
For me, people should put down their phones once in a while and observe their surroundings. Helping those who are in need if necessary while making the right calls to avoid danger. And speaking of danger, put the freaking phones down when crossing streets. Tons of people have died crossing streets because their attentions were in their phones.
Think before you act, and when crossing the road, please make sure to pay attention to you surroundings. And make sure that you wont get hit by a random car.
Hi Ernest! I think zombies are real too but I only see them in movies. The people around us are like zombies too. Who knows, me might also be a zombie. It is because we spend so much time surfing the net, playing video games when we can actually go out and have tons of fun.
ReplyDeleteNice title. It's deceptively intriguing, making you think that you're talking about zombies, until you read the post proper. Still, I think it's an appropriate metaphor for the current situation of the century. Actual communicating is dwindling, being replace by conversations where we can't even see each others faces.
